да, всё работает и соответствует описанию. накопитель действительно очень компактный (10 см), немногим больше флешки. так как у меня несколько устройств - привожу измерение скорости на разных USB, плюс реальное копирование одного файла. продавец общаться не захотел - я два раза задал простой вопрос о сравнении нескольких вариантов у него в магазине, а в ответ получил "покупай что тебе нужно" и всё, это не хорошо, конечно.

Note that the purchase was for NVME external drive 1 TB. This is falsely advertised as the item is SSD, not NVME. Have not tested it yet. Seller gave me no choice when I ordered and asked. Hope that Aliexpress will look into this. Another false item was a keyboard I purchased which described as mechanical but was rubbish, spray painted.
